The VIADA family just got even stronger! We’re thrilled to welcome William R. Childress as our Director of Government Affairs and Lobbying. 🎉
This is a monumental win for Virginia’s independent automobile dealers! William is a true powerhouse in the motor vehicle industry with decades of leadership experience. As the former Executive Director of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB) and past president of the National Association of Motor Vehicle Boards and Commissions (NAMVBC), he’s fought tirelessly for the motor vehicle industry.
Now, he’s bringing his expertise to VIADA, where he’ll champion the interests of independent dealers, lead our legislative efforts, and work with policymakers to shape a brighter future for our industry.

The VIADA office will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving. Please note that the DMV will also be closed on those dates, as well as Saturday, November 30th.
We encourage all dealers to submit their orders early this week to ensure everything is taken care of before the holiday break! 🕒📋
